For the love of shoes.

So I came across this article about shoes on Huffington post,

now anyone that knows me knows that I'm famous for killing some of my most elegant outfits with tasteless flat shoes. Now the reason I go for flats isn't just for its comfort but for the fact that I can't walk 3 blocks in its counterpart without looking like a mermaid doomed to live her entire life walking on ice. Then comes the absolutely ugly looking corns that form on the toes and the blisters,bunions,cramps and of course "yam" . For that last bit though I doubt there's anything that can be done so I'll deal with it.
